Easy to make Burrito Bowl

Ever been to your favourite Mexican food take out joint and wonder “If only I could eat more but the bowl is not infinite enough!” Don’t worry, we have you covered. This recipe is your gateway to an infinite, bottomless Burrito Bowl

Below Recipe Serves 4. Time Taken 60 mins

This recipe involves 4 mini recipes thrown together into one bowl. If this sounds daunting then trust us, its really easy. Also, the best part about this recipe is that it can last atleast 3 more meals. The recipe has Mexican Rice, Kidney Beans gravy, Tomato Salsa and Guacamole.

Mexican Rice


  • 2 Garlic pods finely chopped
  • 2 table spoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Rice
  • Tomato puree (3 tomatoes blended)


  1. Heat oil in a large pan
  2. When the oil is sizzling hot, add garlic and saute for 1 mins
  3. Add rice, and keep stirring until the rice is decently friend (5 mins)
  4. Add tomato puree and cook for 2 mins
  5. Add 2 cups of water and let it cook for 10 mins

Tomato Salsa


  • Tomato puree (3 tomatoes blended)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 green bellpepper finely chopped
  • 1 red paprika finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • salt to taste


  1. In a small skillet, heat olive oil
  2. Add onions and fry until golden brown
  3. Add bellpepper and paprika, and saute for 2 mins
  4. Add tomato puree and cook for 5 mins
  5. Add vinegar/lemon juice and salt to taste

Kidney Beans Gravy


  • Canned kidney beans
  • 1 onion chopped into thin long strands
  • Olive oil 1 teaspoon
  • 2 pods garlic finely chopped


  1. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic
  2. Once the garlic is properly roasted, add onions and saute until golden brown
  3. Add kidney beans with water and cook for 10 mins



  1. Scoop 1 ripe avocada and mash it
  2. Cut half an onion and tomato, and 1/4th red bellpepper and add into mix
  3. Add sour cream (Optional)

Throw all the mini recipes into one bowl and cover with lettuce. And voila, your Burrito Bowl is ready!
